I am in awe! I have been coming to Rocky Point yearly for over 15 years and have never tasted anything so good in Rocky Point. We had pescado frito, their specialty pescado zarandiado, and everything was delicious. I would give it 10 stars if I could. 100% recommend. I’m a Mexican food critic and I totally approve this place!
The best deal in seafood in Puerto Penasco and also the best tasting. I began with the seafood stew hard shell tacos and the shrimp cerviche which were both delicious especially the tacos. I ordered the lobster which the restaurant mesquite grilled and it was the best lobster I’ve had hands down. Don’t use the drawn butter because you will not need it. The atmosphere is nice with both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be limited especially if you go on a Saturday night. I got a space early as I attended a sunset cruise across the street. My total bill which included 2 bottled waters came out to 955 pesos which was my least expensive dining bill while staying in Puerto Penasco. I definitely recommend Las Gaviotas you won’t regret it.
Everything was absolutely delicious here. The traditional tuna was great, fresh, and tasted so clean. Really perfect for something light. The fresh caught, flame grilled fish is truly an experience. Definitely enough to feed 3 very hungry or 5 slightly hungry people. (be careful of bones) The peppers were quite spicy and perfect with shrimp. For non-seafood lovers, the flank steak tacos were perfect. Come with 3 and blue corn tortillas. I decided to also get a side of rice and black beans, which were also amazing. Highly recommend and I might visit again before we leave! Update: came back 2 years later, it's still phenomenal! This time I got fajitas and they were excellent. My party shared the snapper grilled and loved it. We also got all the same appetizers as last time!
Wow! We loved this place we went for dinner 3 days in a row! The service was top notch and the food delish! We tried tacos, famous fish and barbacoa and everything was delish! The Blue corn tortillas were so delicious! The waiter was so kind and helpful had a great time! Todo muy rico y mesero super amable! Fuimos 3 dias seguidos y todo lo que comimos estava super deli! 100% recomendado.
I love coming here They’ll cook my fresh caught fish I’ve brought them Corvina and today I brought a fresh Flounder they grilled and served with tortillas, papas and veggies. Very delicious. The Shrimp Taco is so far the best I’ve had. I also loved the fish taco
What a gem, hidden down by the marina with inside and patio dining. Wonderful for large parties.. fresh catch of the day options and yummy margaritas.. the staff was so attentive..
This restaurant came highly recommended from a friend so we decided to give it a try. It was 3pm on a Tuesday so we were the only ones there and the food and service were amazing. We highly recommend their specialty grilled items. We got the flounder and the shrimp, and the flavor was amazing.
Tucked away in the back of the entrance to the Malacon you will find a gem of a restaurant. The food was delicious. The covered outdoor seating was great and dog friendly. Plenty of room for a large group.A must try when in Puerto Peñasco.
